Los Angeles FC | Controller | Los Angeles, CA
Following a wildly successful inaugural season in 2018, Los Angeles Football Club has quickly established itself as a major player in the highly competitive Los Angeles sports and entertainment marketplace. Organically building an intensely engaged and boisterous fan culture, the club became one of only four MLS teams to reach the playoffs in its inaugural season and set a new MLS record for points earned by an expansion team. Led by former USMNT Head Coach Bob Bradley and star striker Carlos Vela, the club is well-positioned for even greater success on and off the pitch in coming years.
The club’s ownership and senior management is committed to further developing a world-class, forward-thinking sports organization that brings the fastest growing professional sport in America to one of the largest and most diverse markets in the world.
Located in the heart of Los Angeles, LAFC plays at the state-of-the-art Banc of California Stadium, a next-generation sports and entertainment venue opened in April 2018. The stadium offers a multitude of premium event spaces and boasts a total capacity of 23,500. Apart from LAFC matches, the venue is also set to host over 150+ events in 2019, including headline music concerts, radio shows, music festivals, and multi-cultural music events; international, national and local sporting events; a wide range of special events with top brands and Fortune 500 companies, such as corporate, convention, trade, and brand communication events; charity events and fundraisers; public events at the national, regional and local level; experiential events and installations; fairs and festivals; and private events and celebrations.
