All employees are based out of Turnkey’s corporate headquarters. 

Position Details

The Turnkey Search Recruiting Intern (“Intern”) will act as an assistant to the Executive Search Team for search-related needs, and will support the Operations team. This position can be flexible in terms of required hours but should be a for-credit opportunity. We are accepting applications for the Spring and Summer of 2020.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Oversee Turnkey’s candidate database and applicant tracking system.

  • Research, develop, and update candidate target list with direction from Turnkey Recruiters.

  • Manage inbound calls and appointment requests for Search Team.

  • Assist in the development of position descriptions, candidate memos, contact reports and business development collateral on behalf of Turnkey Search.

  • Coordinate logistics and scheduling for Turnkey Search employees and candidates.

  • Canvas the sports industry and related industries for prospective new clients and candidates.

  • Provide research and background information on current and prospective clients and positions; organize information in a format which can be sent to potential candidates.

  • Oversee day-to-day health and operations of the database including adding/updating contacts, accounts, documents and data to ensure all information is up to date and readily available.

  • Assist in the development of overarching strategy, workflows and best practices to streamline operations and create greater overall efficiency for the company.

  • Participate in meetings with other partners and employees of Turnkey.

  • Additional tasks as assigned by the recruiting and marketing teams.


  • Tremendous work ethic and a passionate interest in pursuing a career in recruiting, human resources, sports business, sports management, or other related field.

  • Currently pursuing Bachelor’s degree or Master’s Degree.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Rigorously detail-oriented with exceptional time-management skills.

  • Highly organized and regimented with proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong team player with proven ability and desire to work in a team-based environment.
