Located in beautiful and quaint Haddonfield, NJ, a suburb approximately 10 miles east of Philadelphia, Turnkey Sports & Entertainment provides an appealing working environment and is extremely well-positioned for continued growth. All employees are based out of Turnkey’s corporate headquarters. 

Essential Duties

The Recruiting Associate will have a significant effect on the continued growth of Turnkey Search. The Recruiting Associate will proactively build and cultivate Turnkey’s internal database of candidates, identifying and building relationships with new and existing potential candidates. With a steadfast drive and commitment to identifying diverse and rising stars within the sports, entertainment and media industry, the Recruiting Associate will engage with industry executives to understand their desired career trajectory and assist in the definition and identification of the next step in the career. This position is ideal for hungry and passionate go-getters who want to kickstart their career with a meaningful position designed for personal and professional growth.

  • Fully support Turnkey Recruiters, Managing Directors and CEO in the development of target candidate lists with a significant focus on diversity and inclusion.

  • Proactively engage with and recruit potential candidates for current and future Turnkey searches.

  • Strategically identify industry executives with whom Turnkey should engage and build a relationship, through constant research of industry publications, conference rosters, etc.

  • Together with Managing Directors and Director of Operations, continuously look to build the database with specific intent on maximizing the functionality of the system and the ability to identify and engage with current candidates.

  • Serve as an ambassador for Turnkey Search at industry functions including conferences, networking events, career development seminars, etc.

  • Conduct introductory interviews with candidates for future Turnkey searches.

  • Assist Turnkey Recruiters, Managing Directors and CEO in the execution of Executive Searches including, but not limited to, target candidate identification, candidate outreach and engagement, client material development and reference checking.

  • In partnership with the Director of Operations and Director of Strategic Communications, consistently develop new strategies to increase the awareness, market presence and market share of Turnkey Search.

  • Work willingly and collaboratively across any other tasks as assigned by senior staff to support the overall goals of the company.

Qualifications

  • Tremendous work ethic and a passionate interest in pursuing a career in sports business, entertainment, media, recruiting, and/or human resources.

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, human resources, sports management, or related fields.

  • Ability to take direction and a desire to be mentored and coached by senior staff in an effort to grow personally, professionally and excel within the company.
