The Philadelphia Phillies announced the hire of Sean Walker as the team’s new Vice President and Chief Technology Officer. Walker joins the Phillies after serving the Tampa Bay Lightning as Vice President of Innovation and Technology Services since 2016. Turnkey worked with the Phillies to lead a comprehensive nationwide search.
“I am excited to join the Phillies organization to help foster new growth on the business side,” said Walker. “This franchise has a stellar reputation in the sports industry as one that will provide necessary resources to secure and maintain a leadership position. I look forward to helping achieve that goal.”
“Sean has a proven ability to successfully restructure IT departments from the ground up,” said Phillies Executive Vice President Dave Buck. “We are fortunate to have him on board to take the Phillies to the next level as it pertains to technology enhancements.”
