Following a comprehensive search led by Turnkey Managing Director Gene DeFilippo, the University of Denver has named Karlton Creech the institution’s next Vice Chancellor for Athletics, Recreation and Ritchie Center Operations.
“Karlton is a perfect fit for our diverse, ambitious and innovative community — with his focus on students and celebrating achievement,” said Chancellor Rebecca Chopp. “Known as a bridge builder on and off campus, Karlton will help us all achieve our dreams and aspirations.”
Creech joins Denver after spending time as the Athletics Director at University of Maine, and Senior Associate Director of Athletics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
