Turnkey desires to grow our sponsorship consulting and analytics practice with Fortune 1000 companies.  While we have recently conducted sponsorship impact studies for Hyundai, Pepsi, Oracle, LG Electronics, and media clients including ESPN and NBC Sports, we believe greater growth is possible from brands/sponsors seeking objective, independent assessment of sponsorship portfolio strategy, valuation, efficacy, and return on investment.  This role will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, developing and nurturing such executive-level/CMO relationships.

Located in the quaint Philadelphia suburb of Haddonfield, NJ, Turnkey is looking for our next impactful executive to expand our presence with corporate clients looking to drive insights for current and potential sponsorship opportunities in the sports and entertainment industry.

Position Details:

Essential Duties:

  • Lead new business development vis-à-vis Fortune 1000 companies/brands that sponsor sports, entertainment, and other properties/endorsers.  This new position will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, developing, and nurturing brand-side senior executive-level/CMO relationships to retain Turnkey.
  • Ensure Turnkey is included in all brand RFPs pertaining to Turnkey’s capabilities.
  • Lead the strategy, crafting, and presentation of Turnkey’s capabilities in response to RFPs and/or as a proactive sales and marketing strategy.
  • Strategically identify potential brand-side clients through diligent research, trend analysis, and industry networking, and then work closely and collaboratively with Team Turnkey to leverage existing relationships and access senior-level decision makers.
  • Participate in the continual development and presentation of Turnkey’s capabilities in sponsorship consulting, sponsorship impact, and sponsorship valuation.
  • Assist in building client base through multiple marketing and networking channels including industry conferences, client visits, email campaigns, mailings, and outbound sales calls.
  • Build and maintain a strong understanding of Turnkey’s current projects, products, and services; highlight and showcase Turnkey’s portfolio of project work in corporate/brand projects.
  • Consult with corporate clients to investigate new potential Turnkey service and/or product offerings.
  • Assis with any other tasks assigned by Executive Vice President.

Qualifications:

  • 5-10 years of experience in new business development for marketing services and the like.
  • Extreme comfort developing customized solutions to accomplish sponsor objectives.
  • Knowledge and comfort with common sponsorship metrics including TV ratings, impression measurement, brand impact KPIs, social media measurement, advertisement spending, CPMs/CPEs, etc.
  • Experience in the sports, media, advertising, and/or entertainment industry required; experience in market research a plus.
  • Existing rolodex and relationships with sponsorship marketing professionals with brands and agencies.
  • Extraordinary verbal and written communication skills; demonstrable expertise in presentation development and execution.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills; high-energy; collaborative; consultative; partnership-driven.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.  Master’s degree in a related field or MBA a plus.
  • Normal business travel as necessary.
