USMS Hires Hughes to Fill CEO Role

U.S. Masters Swimming (USMS) has hired Dawson Hughes as the organization’s new CEO following a national search led by Turnkey.

Dawson HughesHughes has a diverse sports business history. He joins USMS from the Orange Bowl Committee, where he served as Vice President of Business Development. Prior to that, Hughes worked in ticketing for both the Kansas City Royals and San Diego Padres.

“Dawson was a clear choice for us with his unique mix of strong sports business and nonprofit organization experience,” said USMS President Patty Miller in a press release announcing the hire. “With the bonus of his background in youth and collegiate swimming, we’re excited for the leadership and perspective that he will bring.”
